SUMMARY:2024 Business Management & Leadership Academy/UCR Micro BMA
DESCRIPTION:This university-accredited program is a practical 16-week course focused on providing entrepreneurs with the key business fundamentals of current issues\, challenges\, and opportunities in the evolving global environment.  Learners will develop a strong foundation in business fundamentals\, explore worldwide culture and diversity in business\, develop and apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills\, and analyze situations and issues relevant to today’s leaders. \nThis program is intended for companies that have been in business for at least 3 years and would like to scale up. Companies that want to become vendors for corporations\, government entities\, or utility agencies and/or are focused on Technology\, Logistics\, Construction\, Manufacturing\, Transportation\, Environmental sustainability\, and Healthcare access are encouraged to apply. \nREQUIREMENTS \n\nMust commit to attending all 16 sessions (3 hours each) of the program.\nMust be in business for at least three years.\nMust commit to completing three additional hours per week of asynchronous work.\nMust commit to a capabilities statement by the end of the program.\nMust commit to completing the application to obtain a minority and or woman-owned business certification by the end of the program.\n\n  \nSESSION SCHEDULE \n\nJul 13 – First session: Developing a winning capability statement that Generates Business\, Goals\, Mission\, and Vision.
