Maria Serret has been working for Southern California Edison for the past 25 years in various capacities.  She is currently an Account Manager for the Business Customer Division, representing Women Businesses and Edison’s Eastern Territory.  In her current position, Maria is responsible for outreaching to customers and assisting them with all energy-related issues including, but not limited to, energy efficiency, safety, electric transportation, rates & analysis, demand response programs, outages, economic development resources, supplier diversity liaison, etc. 

Having had a business for a few years prior to joining Edison, Maria is passionate about helping women business owners thrive and succeed.  She knows firsthand the challenges and dedication that women face while running their businesses. She works with multiple women organizations throughout the entire Edison territory, which keeps her very in tune with the needs of women entrepreneurs. Helping women business owners be successful is one of her greatest challenges and rewards.

Maria obtained her bachelor’s degree from Cal State University with a major in Public Administration and a minor in Business.  She has two grown children, one of them an entrepreneur.  She shares her home with 3 cats.
