Andrea Garcia is a dedicated entrepreneur committed to education, sustainability, and
community safety. With over two decades of experience, she has developed and led multiple
projects that positively impact the lives of children, families, and professionals across various
industries.
Since 2001, Andrea has been running her own home-based childcare center, Garcia Family
Child Care, providing a safe and enriching environment for children. Her educational approach
is rooted in love and respect for nature, incorporating an innovative learning program through an
agroecological and sustainable farm. This program teaches essential values such as sustainability
promotion, environmental responsibility, food sovereignty, healthy eating habits,
intergenerational solidarity, and recycling concepts.
In addition to her work in childcare, Andrea founded Heart Heroes CPR, Inc. to address the
growing need for Spanish-language training. Her company specializes in training professionals
in key industries such as childcare, construction, warehousing, and healthcare. With a team of
highly experienced instructors, the business offers a hands-on and reliable approach, ensuring
that participants gain critical life-saving skills with confidence. Additionally, all training
materials are provided in both Spanish and English, making learning more accessible and
effective.
Andrea has also expanded her commitment to sustainability through a new collaboration with
Greens in House, working alongside Garcia Family Child Care. This innovative project will
transform sustainable food production by designing self-sufficient aquaponics systems that
integrate greenhouse farming with fish cultivation. These systems provide a year-round supply of
fresh, organic produce and fish, specifically tailored for institutions such as childcare centers,
homeless shelters, and military bases.
By reducing food costs, conserving 90% more water than traditional farming, and cutting carbon
footprints, Greens in House will help organizations achieve food independence while
promoting sustainability. Beyond food production, the project will actively engage
communities through educational workshops and training programs, empowering people to grow
and sustain their own food sources.
