Silvia E. Luna is the daughter of Mexican immigrants from Michoacán and Jalisco. She was raised in Los Angeles by her single mother and is the youngest of four siblings.
As a first-gen, Ms. Luna benefitted from the many opportunities education affords. This prompted her commitment to continue opening doors for other Latinas. Ms. Luna is a board member of the Latina Lawyers Bar Association (“LLBA”), a non-profit organization that provides mentorship, scholarships, and continued education to Latina lawyers and aspiring lawyers. Ms. Luna is also a speaker for the National Latina Business Women’s Association of the Inland Empire and a professor at California State University Northridge.
Ms. Luna is Founder of Luna Legal Firm, where she practices personal injury and employment law. Before opening her firm Ms. Luna defended corporations and small businesses from employment and personal injury claims.
Above all, Ms. Luna is a mother of two and a dog mom. During her spare time, Ms. Luna enjoys visiting National Parks and camping. Ms. Luna enjoys an active lifestyle of running, lifting, and hiking.
