The workshop will cover the following:

  2. The Value of Cash Flow Statement
  3. Elements of Cash Flow Statement
  4. Nine Effective Cash Flow Strategies
  5. Sample of Cash Flow Statement
  6. Cash Flow Financing vs. Asset Base Financing

Session 1 – Understanding & Managing your Cash Flow

In attending this course, you will understand how Cash Management encompasses how your company manages its operations or business activities, financial investments & financing activities. You will learn how to generate cash flow from your business to survive, meaning it can cover its expenses, repay your vendors, and expand your business.

You will gain a basic understanding of how to plan & generate cash from your business activities to manage your cash situation so that you maintain the right amount of money to meet your immediate and long-term needs.

In addition, we will discuss Cash Flow (Asset Base) financing as opposed to collateral financing based on equipment, real estate, etc.

Session 2 – Improving Cash Management

This lesson plan will provide insight into improving your Cash Management processes and procedures. Even if your company makes a profit by making more revenue than it incurs in expenses, you will have to manage your cash flow correctly. Gain knowledge on how to improve your cash flow and how this impacts the growth and development of your business.

We will also cover how understanding your cash flow offers a clear view of the financial health of your business. A company’s cash flow is tied directly to its operations or business activities, specifically; to its investment activities (such as the purchase of the sale of capital equipment), and to its financing activities (such as raising debt or equity funding for purposes of repaying such funding. While a company can fudge its earnings, its cash flow provides an idea (blueprint) about its real financial health.
